We love the light in the eyes of the people when they talk about the places they love and chose to tell us why they love the place. Goa, the smallest state in India, remains a hot favorite destination for tourists and visitors from across the globe. David Menezes, owner of a heritage boutique hotel in Goa, tells us what most tourists get wrong about Goa. Have a read:

"I like the fact that Goa was westernized before any other state in India and trust me it's a great thing. A lot of tourists who come here think that Goa is just a beach destination. Being a local of Goa, I can tell you that it's a myth. There is more to Goa than just beaches. The monuments, rich Portugal architecture, natural waterfalls, and beautiful lakes include some of the major things that Goa has to offer"
